Owen has put together a pretty amazing computer controlled sheet metal cutting system. The metal is cut using a 100 watt C02 laser, it took him two years to build. He’s only had it up and running for one week, this weekend was the first time he started making parts.

This is way to cool !!!
Are you going to sell your product?
Are you going to offer just the laser for cutting metal without the CNC machine?
i have n=been looking for an inexpensive laser for r&d for a long time, at least 5 years
we could use something like that. can you share how well it’s working what it cost to make and whether you plan to sell the finished laser or the plans or kits?
thank you
That is beyond what anyone would expect out of home made lasers I bet if you keep tweaking the design you could make a lightsaber from star wars if you keep it running long enough for use!
