Maybe I should send this in to the Maker Challenge. But here it is.. I’ve been dreaming of being able to read while lying flat in bed. I have an achy back and yet I love to read my Calculus Book. But that thing is heavy to hold up with your arms. Same with any Science or Math book. Even Business.
I’ve toyed with the idea of getting the book as an Ebook and setting up an electronic contraption. But will all textbooks be available in e-format? Probably not.
The main trouble with any of my imagined designs is turning pages. An Ebook solves that. But until I have few restrictions on what I can get in that format, I won’t embrace it.
A sturdy upside down table is my current favorite idea. Any others?
Hi there,
I’ve actually just set up such a contraption!
I used one of these:

And a flat screen, and yes, it really is extremely comfortable for reading / using the computer!
Paul.
