Here’s a quick video of something we’re tinkering with – a virtual MAKE in Second Life (a very maker friendly virtual world). Special thanks to widgeteer Max case for helping me out with this. Here’s a tip: you can reduce or eliminate the momentary smoky/transparent effect when the page is turned by pre-loading the nex page of the magazine while the reader is looking at the current page — just render it on a hidden, internal face of the magazine object.
