when stenciling be aware of the type of paint you’re using not all rattle cans are created equal. The latex based stuff like rustoleum if it drys at all before you get that stencil off you will end up with a huge mess.
Also, instead of weights you can use spray adhesive on the back of the stencil, just spray it on let it dry for a minute and then apply it, any that comes off can be rubbed off when the paint drys.
I’ve done tons of stencils Just wish I had taken pics of the computer stuff I’ve done. For brighter colors you can spray down a white primer with your stencil and then go over it again, but be careful.
