The guys at Spark fun made their own reflow with a skillet – “Spark Fun has barely had the capitol to invest in a hot-air rework station, let alone pick and place machines and industrial reflow ovens. I’ve bought parts from these guys and have been extremely impressed with their customer service, quality and price.
Also, they’re the only place I know of where you can get USB connectors (mini b or regular b sized) in small quantities without paying loads.
My dad is one of the only people in the US to manufacture Vapor Phase soldier reflow machines. So I wouldn’t have to resort to that if I wanted to do some reflow.
