Moonbear3325 has some photos of the “Tape Canvas” he made – you use tapes from cassettes/8-track on a mat and play it by moving the head around – “The tape head has been extended via shielded cable. The “canvas” is made of strips of “8-track” tapes, removed from cartridge and pressed to sticky “foam core” board. Line out of Walkman feeds 2 amps (or other stereo system).” [via] Link.
