Nospleen writes “I always use my laptop on my lap, and it tends to get really hot. I looked online for some kind of stand, but they were all really expensive. I made my own out of a scrap of plywood and some rubber. Now the laptop sits nicely on my lap and still has airflow around it.” – Link.

we’re here in vegas at interop doing a booth, talking about make, showing some robots…making things, plz stand by
Has anyone else noticed the nature of some recent entries being rather… um… obvious? Have we evolved from making our own arc welders to gluing four pieces of rubber onto a scrap of plywood? If so, I have some great tutorial for turning an ordinary sheet of paper into a entertaining portable flying device.
