why don't you move the parts around faster and jiggle the camera some more? i didn't quite throwup from motion-induced nausea. Really, how about watching your video first before (and checking the sound as well) before posting crap. You have a good idea and the project looks cool, just not cool enough to warrant nausea

Nice idea. Unfortunately, the video quality is poor. I presume a head-mounted camera was used. Virtually all the measuring and cutting is not shown in the video, making it pretty much a waste of time except to get the most general idea across.

Fortunately, PVC pipe, coping saws, aviation shears and dowelling are cheap and easy to come by, so lots of experimentation will not be too costly..except for the time.

Really nice idea, though. Maybe you could re-shoot it with a steadier camera?

Cool stuff.
Last year I was at a wedding in Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania. About a third of the choir were playing PVC recorders - They sounded great! They complemented the singers and drummers very well.

Interesting, but the crucial step of how to fashion the tone making part showed us only your forearms and the description you give is different from any flute I've ever heard of. Perhaps you could reshoot this so that we can see how it is suppose to work.
