I grew up with Active Surplus, it’s a fantastic store. There’s always a lot of interesting stuff there.

I haven’t been there in years. I used to go there all the time and dig through the junk. I moved away from Toronto in ’93 and haven’t been there since.

Towards the end of my going there it seemed to be getting very popular, but going downhill because of it. It was getting expensive and the items weren’t as interesting.

Does anyone remember the surplus store about half a block from Active down Beverly? They were much more junky but had a lot of cool stuff. They close about 10 years ago

I’ll be in TO in couple of months, I’m planning to visit Active while I’m there. Is Supremetronic still there?
