The future, powered by steam, and at Maker Faire with Crabfu-
So what do you do after you’ve made a bunch of steam powered r/c tanks? Well you try making a steam turbine tank of course! Making a steam turbine r/c machine has sort of been one of my Holy Grails, but there are many issues with steam turbines, that made it difficult for me to tackle on the project.

I can understand the noise factor being important, but what does using a turbine vs a piston give you? He talked about the difficulties but not why turbines are cool in respect to the pistons.
As with any & all of my steam projects…. the reason that I make any of it, is just trying something unusual and stupid
Yeah the steam turbine tank isn’t the easiest, or most efficient steam contraption compared to steam pistons. But neither is a walker compared to wheeled, or steam compared to electric etc.

excelent design however the down side is the noise of the actual engine working. I work with engines and i no the principle of how they work. But what i would like to no is how motion is applied to all the wheels is it be a connecting rod?
