This Sunday if you’re in the NY area, don’t miss the SECOND largest soap box derby in the world @ the Port Jervis NY PBA Soap Box Derby. Racing begins 9:00am and continues throughout the day. Opening ceremonies are at 12:30pm – Link.

And while you’re in Port Jervis, you can check out the Delaware and Hudson Canal, which went from Honesdale, PA, crossed the Delaware at Minisink, NY on a Roebling bridge using the same technology as the Brooklyn Bridge, turned away from the Delaware at Port Jervis, and went up to Kingston.
