Here’s an experiment, Facebook now allows brand/businesses to have a page on Facebook so we added a MAKE Magazine one. I’m not sure what we’ll do with this or if makers want to use Facebook to connect up with other makers, etc – but it’s up there now. Feel free to poke around and add yourself as a fan… If it’s useful and takes off we’ll do cool stuff with it – Link.

I don´t like the terms of use on facebook. They own everything you put there.
From facebooks terms of use:
By posting User Content to any part of the Site, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to the Company an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully paid, worldwide license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, translate, excerpt (in whole or in part) and distribute such User Content for any purpose on or in connection with the Site or the promotion thereof, to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such User Content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing.
They pretty much have to have that clause in order to do what they do.. any post you make to it is on the web, publicly used, copied, performed, displayed, formatted, translated, excerpted and distributed worldwide by nature of the site. Derivative works are made by many of the applications.
Furthermore, every other social networking site has something exactly the same or very similar in their TOS.
