I’ve started embroidering these patches for my backpack for all the different airports I’ve visited. Patches can be hard to find when traveling, but now I can make my own to show off where I’ve been. My friend Peter came up with this idea long ago. I’ve made some of them available for sale in my Etsy shop, plus I’ll take custom orders for your airport code of choice. – Link.

Neat idea… I’ll take one of every major US domestic airport for starters
Souix City ought to be a big seller…
Hey, I’d love a handful for my hometown airport please (Fukuoka, FUK. Honest!) drop me an email via stuart@36-degrees.co.uk
My mom actually went to college in Sioux City, and requested that I make that one special for her. If you’d like a custom order, shoot me an email or a note on Etsy.
I’d be careful to make sure these are obviously decorative, and there are many, before putting them on your stuff. Don’t want to confuse luggage handlers. People are tagging their luggage with their itineraries, airports, etc in all kinds of ways today. Could be easy to get lost if someone’s not paying attention.
