Yes!! I had an enclosure just like this but had to throw it out when I moved. That thing was built likea brick sh!t house. The power plant in that thing was around 50W, which is perfect for many mini/nanoITX boards or projects like this.
SCSI enclosures are great for repurposing. The power supplies are usually enormously overkill and give you nice clean 5v and 12v to work with. About 8 or 9 years ago I repurposed a couple for holding Cell Computing CardPC’s (and associated “Mighty-Mite” carrier boards) which were very powerful little things for their time.
