Perhaps it would atomize better if the pressure were increased, which could likely be accomplished by adding something like a plastic bag between your mouth and the device (squeeze the bag, similar to a bag-pipe).
A parts list might help.
There’s not much I hate more than artsy at the expense of clarity.
