The lenshoods website has a terrific source of FREE PDF templates of various lens hoods for your camera. They have the standard “rounded” or petal versions, and you can even design your own. These would be a great addition, or backup, to any photographers set up. – Link

Very cool. One question: How do you subscribe to the web site in order to design your own hood? If you try to design your own hood it asks you for user and password. It reads at the bottom of the custom hoods page (http://www.lenshoods.co.uk/custom.php) “This feature is only available to subscribers”.

Under the FAQS area it says:
To help with bandwidth and hosting costs, an optional subscription fee can be paid. This allows you to create your own custom lens hoods to your own specifications.
But I haven’t found out how to subscribe.
