The Enlightenment is made of white Plexiglas. It is 24 cm high, 17 cm wide and 8 cm deep and is supplied with a 9 watt energy-saving lamp – This light up book would make a great remake project! – [via] Link.
@progman63 – this is not product placement, we didn’t get paid in any way to post this — if you read this post it’s for our *remake* category, something interesting the people could remake. it’s clearly labeled.
yeah not many companies would sign up to have their design ripped off hahaha
it seems like a really easy remake actually, it looks like it’s just a matter of getting plexi, gluing together in the form of a book, putting stick on letters for whatever you want it to say and then sanding the rest to give it the frost. Give it a battery and a couple white LED’s with a dark sensing circuit and you’d have a pretty sweet nightlight. Nightlight’s are so in right now
This Summer Fun Guide is brimming with over 50 projects for kids of all ages. You’ll also find inspiring young maker profiles, as well as tool reviews written for and by kids! Plus, it’s our 3D issue, complete with 3D glasses and tons of super-cool 3D photos!
I think “product placement” should be clearly labeled as not a project…..
