  5. Man, I wish that this thing had a component video in.

  6. Every country has its own regulations governing the standards that electronic devices must meet to be sold there. For instance, in the U.S. the device has to meet the limits set by the FCC for emissions of RF energy, in Europe most consumer electronics now has to be made with lead-free solder, etc. I don’t know the specifics of why the Chumby isn’t available outside the U.S. yet, but my guess is that it’s because of this sort of thing – that they haven’t yet been able to do everything needed to certify that they comply with these foreign regulations.
