Why do you have to have the thinkpad outside? Can’t usb cables go 15 feet? Considering it looks like the camera is set next to a door or window, that seems more than enough to run a usb cable inside.
yaknow, that thought occurred to me as well.
I’m guessing there are unseen variables to prevent that arrangement
Maybe he wanted to lock the door/window and wasn’t allowed to drill a hole in the apartment wall…
Outside wall plug + wireless = easier to leave the laptop outside?
