This Instructable is interesting because it lets you run a gas generator on propane and also might serve as an introduction to adapting fuel inputs more broadly.
Anyone know whether this would work as-is with methane instead of propane?

“Anyone know whether this would work as-is with methane instead of propane?” …. and a big can of beans?
Yes, since this uses the carb’s venturi, it will work with natural gas as well.
While it wasn’t shown in the pictures, the writeup mentions using a regulator valve on the propane tank. If you use domestic natural gas you won’t need this, since your line pressure is regulated at the meter. You still need the needle valve though.
And to reiterate, this build doesn’t include any automatic safety systems, so only use this outdoors on an attended rig. Even then, use at your own risk.
