We journey upstream with environmentalist Dan McCormick, a maker who crafts intricate watershed sculptures out of woven willow. In the Workshop, John Park shows how to build lively and inexpensive miniature robots. Mister Jalopy reveals the hidden treasures of his “Compact Childhood Museum.” The Maker Channel segment features French fries shot from a spud gun, freeline skates that ride like a skateboard, an Asteroids game wrist watch, and a motorized wheel chair that shoots flames.

  1. I absolutely loved the little screwdriver he modified to wire up his loops, i’ve got one of those laying around and almost never use it. It makes me wonder what other kind of tips would be useful on it.

    @creditwheredue – here’s a comment i’m re-posting from another anonymous commenter who implied the same thing…

    EMSL is on our advisory board, they’re in the pages of MAKE and on our site – you’ll see them at maker faire in may too, we are always working with them. you can even buy their kits from MAKE.

    we did not make a tv show called “bristlebots” or a book/toy and later claim we invented the bots or the term. showing examples of little bots on a tv segment is a lot different than what scholastic and klutz attempted to do. which by the way is resolved now, they are giving EMSL credit.

  4. show how to connect the wires to belebot and how you solder it so eveyone can see and do it
