Aleksander Polutnik designed this one-wheeled scooter he calls the Enicycle. It works like a Segway in that it has self-balancing hardware, but looks like a unicycle. He designed it in order to cruise along with his unicycle-riding girlfriend. How sweet! Via Core77.

Cool, this has been done several times before (meaning he is not the inventor of the concept as the video suggests) but it is very nicely done.
The video certainly Looks cool, like a poor man’s Segway…So how about some REAL info?
Speed, range, weight!, size and weight limits on rider, cost? There are any number of neat little electric scooters and bikes out there, most of which cost a lot less
than a~$5-7K Segway, but all have their limitations. This thing leaves your hands free, but requires that anything you carry will have to be in a backpack or somesuch.
Neat effort, though…
