Arduino is C++, not Processing. The Arduino project is closely affiliated to the Processing project, and the IDE is similar. But the language you write Arduino code in is C++ made simpler by the Arduino IDE. It’s certainly not Processing (which is Java made simpler by the Processing IDE).
Did the author ever use an Arduino?
