I’ll give dollars to donuts that Jake von Slatt owns a Yaris because he likes to say “YAAAAAAAAAAARis” in a pirate voice. Anyhoo, Jake was tired of the ‘Yota dealership hitting him for 50 bucks to replace the factory cabin air filter, so he hacked together his own from a $5 home A/C filter and wrote a good tutorial about how to do so yourself. Take that ye scallywags!

Ya see, I be origin’ly plan’n tah publish this arn SatAARRRday, but I had to work that day. Arr.
A Yaris?!? That’s not a car. That’s automotive purgatory!
What’s happened to your steam powered auto Jake?
Nonsense! The Yaris is a fine daily driver! It’s like a tiny little Crown Vic. It’s also a more ecological vehicle for the suburban driving cycle than a Prius.
The roadster is still extant, but half of the week I leave my car in the parking lot at work overnight while I bicycle and I’m not willing to do that with the roadster.
VeARRRRRRRRRRRy Nice!
Nice effort and all, but WIX #24483 cabin air filter is available commercially for less than $10. So all in all, if your time is worth more than $5 an hour, this is pretty much a waste of time.
dude, why are you buying air filters at the dealer?
$50 is quite a big money. You can perform this in your own. I saw a video in youtube on how to change cabin air filter. I think it is helpful
and oh, here’s the video on how to replace cabin air filter
