And because we spend all day doing this we are generally easy neither to impress nor to amuse. “Bag of Cthulhu” is decidedly hilarious. “Bag of Zombies” is not. Personally I think it’s the irony of treating “Cthulhu” as an Uncountable Noun that makes the difference.
