Though they won’t help you communicate secretly with your significant other, these gear rings by Kinekt do look like they would be great to play with. Anyone want to figure out how to make a clock out of them? [via technabob]

This is very cool. I am in the market for a wedding ring, but I wonder if this pinches? That would be a horrible thing to find out after the fact. I think I will stick with trusty old Tiffany for the moment.

  I suggest looking into getting a titanium ring. I love mine. Not as geeky as moving gears, but titanium allows for some very exotic patterns, inlays, engravings and shapes that aren’t possible with gold.
  
  I think the gear ring would collect gunk like crazy. You’d be cleaning it on a weekly basis.

I would like to find one of these Gear rings from a store that isnt tring to rip us off. I found the supplier site and they sell these rings to thses stores for $3.00 to $5.00 per ring with a min purchase of 100. The stores I found that are selling them are asking $165.00 per ring. So if anyone knows of a store that is reasonably priced, please let me know. Thanks.
