With 87,000 bar fights a year in the UK, with a combined health care cost of over 2.5 million pounds per year, the British Design Council saw a need for better bar glassware. I’d expect the second design above to work better than the first; if the bulk of the “glass” is made from resin, then it’s going to feel more like a plastic beaker than a real glass.
