This cheap and easy addition to our dining room chairs prevents kids legs from dangling uncomfortably. It won’t get all their wiggles out, but it will help them sit more comfortably… and now that our kids can sit more comfortably facing the table, they get less food in their laps and on the floor and we all enjoy meals more.

Thats a very neat idea, but I would be careful using PVC pipe for the application. I dont know how much your kids weigh, but someone stepping on the center of that could cause the PVC to snap or shatter. PVC pipe is funny like that -its fine forever, resists snapping when bent, then one day it decides to shatter.
When PVC pipe breaks it becomes very sharp, sharp enough to inflict serious injury. Stepping on that and having it break could slice open a leg.
I guess I should have payed more attention to the placement of the apostrophe in the title. I was imagining a child being used as an ottoman. Good project btw.
Always read thoroughly.
