Maker Faire roundup: Lots of events coming up!

With no fewer than three Maker Faires this summer, and four mini Maker Faires, there is a lot to keep up with. Here’s the skinny on all of the fun:

It’s a real shame that the NC, Mid-Atlantic, and Boston faires are all on the same weekend. The Mid-Atlantic faire would be the closest for me (Northern Virginia), but I heard about (and made plans to exhibit at) the NC faire long before I heard anything about Mid-Atlantic.

Ah well, there’s still hope to attend World Maker Faire in September…

  Yeah, I’m a little bummed too, there’s no way to make it to all of them (save perhaps a really nice friend with a plane).
  
  The thing that we probably aren’t making obvious here is that the Mini Maker Faires are put on by local enthusiast groups. Both of the events you mention are being held at the same time as other local events, so I don’t think they had much choice in their scheduling. Of course, they are on separate days, so it’s technically possible to attend both .
