Wie-Chieh Shih made this somewhat intimidating laser jacket using 200 laser diodes. Looks great, but I’d be worried about blinding any audience that I wore it for. There are a few more photos of the build in his Flickr stream.
Surely it’s made for filming only, preferably in a foggy room to dissipate the beams. =] And the camera person looking at them through a digital camera’s viewfinder should be fine, yes? Anyway, I love the sheer ridiculous quantity of lasers on that thing.
