Looking for a Bluetooth remote for your LEGO NXT kit? Youtuber freedroidz is on it. There’s a few wrinkles to iron out, but once it’s stable it should find its way to the Android Market. If you can’t wait and don’t mind playing with alpha code you can pull it down here. [via TalkAndroid]

I’m working on this project for school and I hit a brick wall. I’m trying to commincate between the nxt and an android app via bluetooth. Could you give me some pointers?
Hey Kieth,
There is a really great tutorial here ( http://www.robotappstore.com/Knowledge-Base/Programming-LEGO-NXT-Mindstorms/92.html ) for sending whats called “direct commands” down to the NXT. I’ve been searching around a lot and I’m a bit surprised to see how difficult it is to find more information about these Bluetooth direct commands, but check it out because I’m sure it will answer most if not all your problems. It sounds like its been a while, but if you have any other questions, feel free to post them up and I’ll see if I can help you.
Best,
Ryan
