If you ran across the above image on my Flickr page, you may have thought, “That’s it, Collin finally cracked.” On the other hand, you may have been taken aback by witnessing what could only be the birth of a revolutionary new style, about to radically reshape the face of modern mainstream fashion, and ultimately, the world as we know it.
Or maybe you thought something else other than those two very specific responses. Perhaps you posed the likely query, “Why make such a silly hat?” To which, if I had the chance, I would reply quite sincerely, “My Mother requested it.” In fact, it is not the first of its kind. Yes, dear reader, at least one other Lightbulb Wirenut Colander Hat exists, likely hidden somewhere deep in the offices of Instructor magazine.
To rephrase in infinitely simpler terms — It’s a remake from a magazine cover. I made it for my mom to give to her friend. =]
Also worth noting — it lights up when you put it on your head!

Are you going to put up an instructable on this next? My kids would love one!
