Ryan Palser, whose replica AER-9 laser rifle we covered a couple of weeks ago, has since finished up his second Fallout 3 replica, of the game’s A3-21 plasma rifle, that is, as I predicted, even more impressive than his first. The Flickr set includes some good build shots too, including some details of his casting process. [Thanks, Ryan!]

These are amazing! Much respect to Ryan for this project. Awesome build photos too! I feel as though a gauntlet has been thrown down. I have always wanted to do this.
Small quip: I feel Fallout 3 has some appeal to the Maker crowd, due to its detailed survival aspects and sandbox style game play. I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve logged into that game, it basically became my December when I purchased it!
I want one! Next to Vengeance and the Gauss Rifle, this was my favorite weapon. Don’t leave Megaton without it…
