It's World Space Week!

School kids and adults from all over the world are learning about space and celebrating our humble little parking spot in the Milky Way. Check out the World Space Week website for participating organizations, a calendar of events, materials for teachers and students, etc.

The event launched on Monday, Oct 4, the 53rd anniversary of the launch of Sputnik. [Thanks, Rachel!]
