Inspired by the awesome universal robotic gripper, Carlos of Carlito’s Contraptions decided to take matters into his own hands, and built his own using a party balloon, tubing, cloth, coffee, rubber band, and his lungs. His DIY gripper isn’t quite as automatic as the research machine, but he promises that after he gets a new vacuum pump, he’ll revisit the issue. [via Hacked Gadgets]
