NYC Resistor’s “barbot” under construction

Manhattan-based radio reporter Jon Kalish emailed me to let us know that he has a two-part piece on hackerspaces airing on NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday, starting this Sunday. The first piece includes visits to NYC Resistor in Brooklyn and Hive 76 in Philadelphia. Frequent MAKE contributor and hackerspace evangelist Mitch Altman is also featured. The following Sunday (11/21), the story is on hackerspaces serving as incubators for small businesses.

It hasn’t aired yet. It starts THIS Sunday and then the 2nd installment NEXT Sunday.

  3. Dates – tss tss – time and space are sometimes a bit abstract to me (my brain did not register that Sunday the 7th of November was.. last week!)

    so thanks :-)

  4. Liane Hansen,  Dear Liane, we have listenked to you and Will Shortz  for more years than I can remember, and enjoyed every minute of it.  We wish you an extended and happy retirement.
If you wanted to give an appreciated going away present to your fans, you could take drivel driven Scott Simon and his atrocious taste in music along with you.  Sincerely,  Dave & Betty Calfee, KXJZ, Sacramento.
