Have any of you deep-in-the-craft Makers ever seen the algorithm by which QR Code is *de*coded (dot_pattern -> text)?
I’ve been hunting for over a year now, and the closest i’ve come is “there is a function for that written in java for a project that’s now dead on this link that is broken …”
It’s said that this algorithm has been openly released (from Japanese industry-land) …but where? behind some pay-for-ACTA-IEEE wall, or what?
