It would appear that Isaac Salazar’s remarkable “origami” book sculptures are made simply by folding each page to the right dimensions. Dog-ears of various sizes will achieve the outer profile of the shape, but I assume internal details require that the pages be cut. See more in Veronica Salazar’s Flickr stream. [via Recyclart]

    Not at all. Just interleave the folded pages so some form the external details and some form the internal details. If you look closely at the image, you can see that is, in fact, how it has been done.

    So when building an =, make the folds for the beginning of the top line, then the bottom line with the next page, then the top again with the next page, and so forth, until you’re done. It can be completed all at once, without any cuts
