Our pal Deek, from Tiny Yellow House, sent us word of this interview he did with Jay Shafer of Tumbleweed Tiny House Company. It was actually seeing Jay and his micro-house on the evening news that inspired me to plan a micro-house/shackitecture theme for the site this summer. We’re looking forward to that.

  1. I love the idea of scaling down your living arrangements. As was mentioned, the more space you have the more stuff you acquire to fill the space, the more money you spend to maintain the space and the stuff. You become a slave to your possessions.

Now if I could just convince my family of this. :D

  2. Skip ahead to 0:40 to avoid commercials and intro.
