A bottle opener? I thought liquids and electronics didn’t mix.
How about a Leatherman with a bunch of different crimping tools for different electrical connectors? That would rock.
I’ve always wondered if I was missing something with the inclusion of bottle openers with virtually all utility knives. Especially workbench-related ones.
I didn’t think I was supposed to be drinking while operating power tools…
How is this consistent with the ‘if I can’t open it, I don’t own it’ philosophy? Can I obtain drawings or spare parts in order to repair or modify this?
If you can’t open it, grow some nails.
On a more serious, it looks like it has standard Torx screws, so switching a tool should be easy.
That’s a good point. They used to be riveted together, now they use standard Torx screws. Now you can disassemble it for for cleaning.
How about a grounding wrist band and attachment point? Being a source of static to introduce to a board your working with seems to be a bad idea also.
Wouldn’t the user be grounded, (wristband, etc) and not the tool?
How about a 110/66 punchdown tool
Looks like a great tool but it would be handy to go down to 22 or 24GA. I live in the world of little wires.
I use mine on 22awg solid core all the time and it works great. I’d have to test 24awg …I can’t believe I don’t have any in my studio to test?
