  1. why would you mess up a bike by taking off the gears??

      If you live in an area where you would oouldn’t need to change gears a lot, it could make for a simpler bike to ride and maintain. If you live in a hilly area like me, the last thing you’d want is a single speed or fixed gear bike! :)

  2. Couldn’t resist the share:
    back in the early sixties, my dad terrified us by building the Bucking Bronco bike — both wheels with off-center hubs — ensured a truly kooky ride — especially down hill…. YIKES
