The finals for Red Bull Creation, a collaborative hacking competition, will be taking place in Brooklyn on July 10th, McCarren Park. Sixteen teams will be given 72 hours to create something amazing, based on a “create the future” theme they’ll be given. A Red Bull Creation Laboratory, a tricked-out hackerspace Red Bull set up, will be at the groups’ disposal. Groups include i3Detriot, Harford Hackerspace, NYC Resistor, TechShop, and others. Should be an amazing event. Folks from MAKE will likely be there and we’ll have more about it on the blog.
