What some of you may not know about Make: Projects is that it’s a full wiki platform, able to handle long-form articles and tutorials, not just step-by-step projects. In celebration of the robot theme here on the site, and the new robot issue of the mag (MAKE Volume 27), we’ve built out the Robotics section of the Make: Projects platform. Now, in addition to the many bot projects we feature there, we have laid the foundations of a beginning skill set in robotics. It contains, among other things, excerpts from Gordon McComb’s amazing, classic Robot Builder’s Bonanza, my own Absolute Beginner’s Guide to Building Robots, and content from last year’s highly successful Make: Robot Build that we did here on the site. Over the coming weeks we’ll be adding more content from these sources.

So, check it out, see what we have so far, and since it’s a wiki, feel free to flesh out some sub-sections on your own. The Sensors, Actuators, Communications, Vision Systems, and other sub-sections are begging for content.
