Check out these fine companies and people who are sponsoring the 2nd Open Source Hardware summit.
We at the Open hardware Summit work very hard to keep the summit accessible to all people and companies, big or small. We keep the ticket prices affordable (even with meals, cocktails, a kickass lineup and a goodie bag to die for!), we cap sponsorship levels, and we plan a scholarship for open hardware with the remaining funds. But in order to do this, we need your help! Please consider supporting the Open Hardware Summit 2011 by being a sponsor. Different levels are available, and (besides making history), the benefits are totally worth it!
If you love open source hardware, making the world a better place through engineering and sharing please consider sponsoring the summit!

Two names I’m surprised to not see yet — Solarbotics and Make: Places that should be up there: DigiKey, Jameco, Mouser, RadioShack. Dream sponsors: Any engineering department, but especially MIT; TED; Black-Eyed Peas
@facebook-772844145:disqus make is providing support for the event, and it’s great “Media Sponsor & Host” – for the others you listed, yes! that would be great, by posting up here i am hoping they see there’s plenty of time to support open source hardware!

Minus the lovely Adafruit/LadyAda, are any of these companies even near NYC? I feel like the West Coast would be a more fitting place to have the OHS; perhaps I’m just bitter I’ll never have a chance to attend.
