    Hi –

Love the idea of using a laser to cut the felt – can you tell me more about the laser process – do you have your own cutter? Model/name?

Felt cuts nicely on the laser. Natural material behaves a bit differently than recycled material fabrics. Since it is a low density material, machine times are pretty fast.

My experience is with a 40 Watt Epilog and 1/8″ thick felt made of recycled bottles.

The felt cuts nice, and has sealed edges.

Felt can be sewed and glued or used by itself. White paper glue will hold it to natural materials like cardboard or paper, but you need a fabric or craft glue to hold felt to felt.

Thanks, I’ll check it out. Appreciate the ehlp. I need to cut hand-felted wool.
