Jeffrey Lipton of Fab@Home demonstrates their 3D printing system at Maker Faire Bay Area 2011. This open source personal manufacturing machine can print with many different materials from plastic to cookie dough. So… if I were getting into 3d printing… which printer would be better. Makerbot’s Thing-O-Matic or Fab@home ver2? Cash burning hole in pocket… must have comment input!!!!

  2. I wanna buy the Fab@Home Model 2 and some links direct me to the NextFab Store, but their phone number is incorrect. Anyone know that is there any alternative to get the printer? Thx!
