  1. That is amazing! I would love to see a breakdown of how the twisting mechanisms work. It reminds me of a standard combination lock, but I have no idea how I would begin to do that in lego.

      I’m likewise boggled by this.  Where do people get all the special parts needed to do this stuff?  It must cost an arm and a leg to obtain a few special parts that were only part of a couple specific kits.  People who do these LEGO machines must have a fortune invested.

  3. This is amazingly well engineered and brilliantly conceived!  And extra points for the LEGO in-reference in the project’s title (intentional or not).  I’d love some more deets on the twist mechanism too.

  6. These guys must have nothing better to do but come up with this brilliant stuff. What is it boredom or curiosity that drives a grown person to build clocks from legos?
