Railroad Spike Oyster Knives

I like these hand-forged oyster knives from Kirk Davis and Michael Waller of Carolina Shuckers enough to actually consider eating a raw oyster, so long as I got to use one to open it, first. Reminds me of the work of Tai Goo. [via Dude Craft]

Hopefully these gentlemen will come to Maker Faire NC- nice work!

Hopefully they will figure out that the entirety of their website is hard-coded to someone’s machine rather than to the URL it is supposed to point to. The blank white pages are breathtaking, don’t get me wrong, but that’s a pretty amateur web design mistake.

“What? I can see it on my machine?”

Sean, you don’t know what you’re missing. Oysters are delicious and I would nom so many of them with one of these knives.
