Also, I had trouble on some peices getting the tape to stretch around the base and stick, so I found if you cut the strip of tape into a small point (think like the top of a fence post) before you fold it over, it allows for more of an exposed underside to stick. This takes a bit more time but far quicker than if it rips or trying to use glue .

I’ve seen them done step-by-step on YouTube. FYI Walmart sells “Duck Tape” which is a big square of colored duct tape. I haven’t priced it out, but it might be worth it for convenience.
