Feel the Weather With Cryoscope

The Cryoscope shows the user exactly what to expect outside by haptically exhibiting exactly how cold or warm it is to be outside. The user simply touches an aluminum cube that has been heated or cooled to the appropriate temperature. The unit fetches weather data from the internet, and translates it to the cube physically, pumping heat in or out of the cube.

I can see that as good for blind people but that’s about it, that’s my opinion though I know that there will be differing opinions on that.

Living outside of Phoenix, my 5 year old son would love to “feel” the Maine winter his cousins experience and they likewise would like to “feel” our desert summer! So yeah, it would be cool if you could select climates all over the world.

Sounds like a fun thing to have around. It’s nice though that they really made it! And indeed, i would be great to select climates all over the world and then you could just let your imagination create the images. And for kids I guess it’s even more exciting.
